2022 Recipient | Mia Schirmer | Jared Pritchard Memorial Scholarship
Jared Pritchard lived at New College for four years but very sadly passed away in December 2010.
In honour of Jared's creative talent, this scholarship is awarded to a student who will contribute to the creative and performing arts in the College community.
Mia moved from Lennox Head, NSW to study a Bachelor of Arts (Screen Production). She is a budding filmmaker who is passionate about using film to help people understand the world better.
Without this scholarship, Mia would not have been able to stay in College for a second year and take on key leadership roles, including Creative Arts Mentor and producer of the New College Musical.
This scholarship has allowed me to step up and support first year collegians in their creative endeavours.
