On 4th October the NCV community gathered for the 2012 Spring Formal Dinner. Formal Dinners are an important part of life at NCV, where the community hears from a distinguished person in the university or wider community. The NSW Police Commissioner, Andrew Scipione, was the guest speaker at a New College Formal Dinner on Thursday, 30th August 2012. Residents, Board members, staff and alumni of New College gathered for the Dinner, which was also an opportunity to recognise one of the College’s most devoted supporters. During the evening alumnus and long time friend of New College, Mr Bill Barwick, was awarded the title of ‘Life Fellow’ of the College.
New College is opening our doors for the UNSW Open Day this Saturday, 1st September. Guided tours will be available from 10am to 4pm from the Anzac Parade entrance of New College.
