Residents head out to meet some Aussie animals

On Saturday, Senior Residents Jono Hopkins and Medha Gupta organised a group of a dozen NCV residents to spend a gloriously sunny day at the Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park in Calga. The Park is a wildlife sanctuary offering a fun, interactive and educational experience to its visitors, which includes animal feedings and guided tours of Aboringinal sites. The excited group enjoyed learning a lot about Australian culture and wildlife and they cuddled koalas, took selfies with snakes, and even took turns at throwing a boomerang. "Everyone had a great time and we all learned something new", shares Jono. The NCV Wildlife Trip is certainly a much-loved event in NCV's social calendar each year, and a fantastic opportunity (especially residents from overseas!) to become acquainted with some of Australia's most iconic animal friends.
