2022 Recipient | Mahsa Seydi | PhD Scholarship
These scholarships are available for any New College Postgraduate Village resident who is enrolled in a PhD program at UNSW.
Recipients will be active members of the NCPV Research Community and involved in wider College life.
Mahsa is another NCPV PhD scholarship recipient this year. She is from Iran and is trying to find an improved, multidisciplinary approach to managing walking pain in older Australians.
This scholarship has reduced my financial burden and given me the opportunity to focus on my education. And, with this help, I may be able to stay at NCPV even longer.
Mahsa is already making a valuable contribution to the community. She helped organise the Persian New Year event, which was a great celebration of cultural diversity in NCPV.
This College is one of the best places to be if you want to develop as a person. People here are so lovely and helpful.
