Ian Walker Memorial Scholarship

"I am so grateful for the generous support I have been given through the New College Scholarships Program. My family was not in a position to financially support me, so this generosity has been the main factor in allowing me to move to college. Now I am able to focus on the amazing academic and social opportunities we have here. I love college life so much and am incredibly privileged to live here"

Jared Pritchard Memorial Scholarship

"Without the generous support of a New College scholarship, it would have been very difficult for me to independently support myself for another year of residency at New College. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at New College where I have grown as a person and as a Christian. This scholarship has enabled me to stay at New College and foster relationships with the life-long friends I have made. I am incredibly grateful for the generosity of Alumni and stakeholders at New College for supporting the New College scholarship program!"

Access Scholarship

"I want to sincerely thank you for generously donating to the New College scholarships. I’m truly honored and grateful for your support.
This scholarship lightens my financial load and allows me to focus more on my studies at UNSW and participate in College life. Your generosity means a great deal to me, and I’m committed to making the most of this opportunity at New College.
Thank you again for your kindness and belief in my potential."

Anna Blanch, 2025

"As someone who lived away from university, I am to able to appreciate how incredibly convenient living on-campus is. I am within a 15min walk to all my classes, the dining hall, my workplace, church, my friends and the gym. This has reduced my stress and time-wastage associated with a long commute and have provided me with a supportive community of friends, peers and mentors, which I did not have previously. None of this would not have been affordable without my scholarship. It has enabled me to focus on the things that matter."

Nathan Blanch, 2025

"This year, I’ve had the privilege of returning to New College for a third year. This may not have been possible without the support of a college scholarship. It’s been a joy to see how eager collegians are to get involved, and I’ve loved being part of that, both in formal ways, like running subcommittees, leading a Bible study and in informal, everyday moments of community. The scholarship I received has given me the time and flexibility to invest deeply and meaningfully in college life. For that, I’m truly grateful."

Beth Blanch, 2025

"As a missionary kid, I know the importance of generosity, and able to appreciate how we are able to be supported in fully investing time into God's work. Being from this background, I couldn't expect any monetary support from my parents, and was really uncertain about how to live, manage my life, and start uni in Australia. New College provided the opportunity for me to settle into life easily, without worrying about cooking or cleaning. I get to meet lots of people and make friends in a way I couldn't have otherwise. None of this would be possible without the New College support I have received"

Harry Taylor, 2025

"New College is an amazing place, not because of the things that everyone speaks about like community, academics, activities and opportunities, although all these things are amazing. I have been struck by the Christ centered service and love which New College exhibits. I have been the beneficiary of a scholarship for the four years that I have been here, being encouraged to serve the community, and given great support from the staff. The heart of College not viewing money as it's own, but as a steward of God's money used to serve. Please keep praying for me as I seek to serve the community better."

Regional Scholarship

"From my few weeks living at New College, I can already tell what an amazing community it is, and I am so glad of the opportunity I have to be able to live and study here alongside so many amazing people. New College is a place that supports academic, spiritual, and emotional growth and has programs and events in place to facilitate this, which is something I doubt I would find at many other places. It is a blessing and a privilege, and so I am very grateful for this scholarship which will help pay for my college fees and take some of the pressure off, allowing me to dedicate more time to studying, and to making the most of my time here at New College."

Malachi English, 2024

"This scholarship has lifted some of the financial burden of attending college, meaning I have been able to focus 100% on College life and my studies. I have been involved at College through Bible studies, sporting events, being part of techsoc, O week and enjoyed getting involved in NCCF’s Weekend Away, one on one’s with CBS’s Unichurch and many more. I love many things about New College - the vibrant and active community, and the smooth transition away from home. I was worried that leaving home would be a difficult transition, but moving to College was the best decision as I quickly came to find New College as my new home with new friends and family. Thank you for supporting me."
